I'M MARRIED!!!

It took almost a year of preparation and a lot of sweat and yes, even tears, but the wedding was a big success. Although there were many last minute things that were not ironed out when I got there, and the wedding day itself was just a haze, the pictures look great. Those are the memories I'll really keep. What I remember, was just that I was still giving a lot of orders that day. Ricky's family was late, and I was supremely pissed about that.

But as soon as the ceremony got under way, things went well. The event was sweet, although not too well attended, and the cocktails and photo sessions went well. We caught the sunset just in time despite the groom's late family. So the backdrop was still beautiful. Again, I still had to manage a lot during the dinner reception, but towards the end, I just gave up and said, ah what the heck. What will be will be right? It turned out fine, and I'm sure no one but me (and maybe my mom) knew that we didn't do everything that was on the program.

All in all, it went quite well, I think! I really don't remember! Being in the center of the storm really does not give you a very good perspective. I suppose that's why people hire competent wedding planners (unlike the one I had). :)
