Ricky and I went to South City Grill for brunch on Sunday. We've been there several times, so strictly speaking, it should not be considered a CUBS event (especially since Usa was too busy sleeping to come!). BUT, they actually had a new brunch menu, so in a way, everything was new. I ordered the Poached Eggs Rosita, a very interesting dish. Lumps of crab were placed on top of 2 poached eggs with spicy (and it really was spicy) salsa, all in a crunchy taco shell. Hash browns on the side. It was actually really good and they did not scrimp on the lumped crab meat. Ricky had Eggs X3, which was delicious but he said he had stomach problems afterwards... eeck...
For the rest of Sunday, we went to Staples to buy some boxes for organizing knick-knacks. Ricky went to buy multi-plugs for our new study. Then we spent the rest of the day moving furniture around, the desk into the new study so we have 2 desks in one room. The closet into the master bedroom and we plan to move the book shelves downstairs into the dining area. It was a productive day!
