So when I finished that accounting exam on Tuesday, I walked out there thinking, I'M FREE!!! FREE as a bird in the sky, no exams to haunt me, no studying all summer!!!!!
Of course, there is no such thing. My mom had once told me when I was younger, that my only responsibility was to be a student, and I should be happy that all I have to worry about is beinga good student. I was like, no...I have to think about what I need to wear tomorrow, and friends and boys...like those were the toughest things in life to deal with. Now I appreciate what she was trying to tell me. Although I am a student, I also need to deal with mortgages, rents, planning weddings, Ricky, Brownie, the list just goes on and on. So I've noticed that I am never ever FREE!
Wednesday was obviously super busy day, what with getting locked out and all. Thursday was pretty much similar. I experimented with the labels that I bought from Staples in the morning and came up with the perfect color to match my envelopes. I even bought gold return address labels to both print our return addresses and seal the back of the envelope. So that morning, I took to printing and sticking, intent on sending out my invites.
Well...then Ricky called and he wanted to have lunch, and of course, I don't like being lonely, so I headed out to the city for lunch. Then I set about looking for a present for my mom for mother's day, what do you get someone who has everything? Sigh...in the end, I still didn't find anything. Then I realized that I should really get home if I want to get to the post office to send out my invites, I got home and all this drama ensued over email on whether we should meet tonight or tomorrow night...argh.... So well, my invites are all printed, they will be sent on Friday, and life chugs on. But as I woke up today, Friday, thinking of all the things I need to do, I realize, I am SO NOT free!! I wonder if I ever will be...
