Anabela and I were supposed to meet at Dean and Deluca for desserts but since the place was overcrowded, we decided to go elsewhere. We ended up at the Hampton Chutney Co. on the corner of Prince and Crosby, it's a nice little place that sells very interesting cardamon flavored coffee and chai teas. It was good, nice and quiet for chatting and not too crowded. We just spend the few hours together talking about Shanghai, getting married, getting guys, etc. It was so refreshing to have some girl talk. It's been so long since I've just chatted with a chick! :)
New York is such a wonderful place to just hang out and chat. As we sat outside, we saw all sorts of funky people, big guy walking a mini-chihuahua and holding the dog's little pig toy in his other hand. Girls in big colorful dresses and knee-high football socks with sandals. I bet you won't see that in any other city besides maybe Tokyo.
At around 7PM, we headed for the NR train uptown, she was going to an 8PM show of hairspray and I was heading to Japas 55 for my bachelorette party! It's so great to catch-up, I'm really going to miss Anabela!
