OUCH!

I was walking into Chase to deposit two checks after work. As I walked in, a guy walked out and opened the door for me. It was a nice thing for him to do, but the bottom of the door scraped the skin off the top of my toe which immediate started bleeding. Boy did it hurt, I was breathless and dizzy just from the shock of the pain. But after the first wave passed I decided hey, might was well deposit the checks first, I'll be ok. So I filled out the deposit form, and deposited my envelop into the ATM. Meanwhile, my toe kept bleeding and bleeding to the point where I was slipping the blood pooled on my shoe (sorry this is kinda gross).

Finally I decided this was it, I had to go to the Duane Reade next door to get myself a band-aid. Thank god it was next door and I knew exactly where it is. Still I had to limp downstairs to where the band-aids are kept before I could finally get somewhat cleaned up and but the band-aid on, so I could limp home without bleeding all over the place. OUCH! Once I got home, I pulled out the first aid kit, cleaned out my toe and wrapped it up with a band-aid. Phew! What an ordeal!

I feel much better now, but am going to sulk the rest of the night, meaning I really am not in the mood for exercise! :p Might take Brownie later....
