Sri Pra Phai used to be an unknown little hole in the wall where it was crowded, but never too crowded. You could always since in the ugly basement when things got really crazy up on the mainf floor! But the boss had good business sense and decided to renovate the place and expand into the next storefront, plus build a gorgeous back courtyard complete with a small fountain. To our disappointment, the great renovation made the place just that much more popular, and tables are now even harder to come by. It is also hard to get parking space in the area!
Ray, Euhan, Usa, Rick and I decided to drive out to Queens for some real Thai food on Saturday night. I really wanted to go when Usa is around to order for us in Thai and recommend some authentic Thai food. She did not disappoint us! We ordered some new dishes that I had never tried before but was incredibly yummy. For example, the chili basil duck. Of course we also had our old favorite, the BBQ pork tenders. So good! It was Euhan's first time there and he was definitely impressed. You know when he says, "we have to bring Elaine here..." Haha!
