Sushi Lounge

*sigh* I will never lose weight if I keep eating the way I do on weekends! After the gluttony on Saturday at the amazing pancake place and the amazing Thai place, we decided to go out for dinner at Sushi Lounge. A great little place in Hoboken that had the most amazingly creative sushi rolls.

This morning, I woke up at around 8:30, and read my very depressing novel for a while, since I could not go back to sleep. The novel, by the way, is called Evening News, and I would not recommend it! It's about a woman who's son shot his baby sister by mistake and slowly but surely the family falls apart. The son tries to kill himself, the dad runs out on her and she goes nuts. Sure it may be realistic but it is depressing as H*ll. The only reason I'm still reading it is because I've already gotten through half of it and don't feel like quitting. Also I haven't bought anything else to read in it's place just yet, so I figure I might as well keep going...

For lunch, Rick and I had Masaman curry that we bought from Sri Pra Phai yesterday, yummy! Not much, but definitely enough to be full! Then I drove out to Jersey Garden Mall to meet Usa and Ray and them. I picked up Jay from Newport as well!

My main mission at the Mall was to get a gift card for Ricky's sister for her birthday. Then I bough myself 2 t-shirts as well. Usa and I had loads of fun shopping at DSW, we bought matching pairs of snowboots! So it is the middle of summer now, but buying off-season was what gets you the greatest bargains! I was a bad influence, I was the one who was like... hey we should get snowboots now while they're on sale! But Usa was so happy about her purchase, I think I did the right thing. Haha....

After shopping (which was tiring!) we decided to go to Hoboken Sushi Lounge for dinner. The place is truely excellent! My new favorite sushi place in the tri-state area! The rolls are super inventive, the Hoboken roll had fried tuna, salmon and yellow tail with eel sauce. The Lady is a Tramp roll had spicy tuna and regular tuna, the Lounge roll has eel and tempura shrimp. Excellent! But as I watch my tummy get bigger with each passing day, I often regret eating too much...:( But well now that the treadmill is upstairs, I am certain I will use it more, at least 5 times a day. So....it'll be ok. Look to the future not to the past. It's too late to regret, but never too late to improve! During the week, I'll be back to my juices or salads. It will be ok... :)

For the weekend, I'll enjoy! Bon Apetit! hee hee...:p
